About

This project was sponsored by Jeep and we were given the task to create a concept for a vehicle, product, and UI in the year 2050 and to choose a demographic from a list they provided.

This project was a cross collaboration between two different teams, a product team (Ripple) and an industrial team (UniGo).

How might we help Jeep users create experiences so that they choose Jeep as their preferred brand in 2050?

The Big Idea

The Big Idea

We imagine users in 2050 will have the ability to control their devices with neurotechnology. Users will be able to access their screens instantly without having to go through the traditional task flow.

The UniGo team (David and Claire) designed the car while the Ripple team (Jun) designed the AR “glasses” and e-scooter. We used the glasses as a way to see the HUD of the UniGo vehicle.

The Solution

The Solution

The Ripple team developed the concept where users are incentivized to ultimately purchase a Jeep vehicle through engagement and rewards. The Voyager is the introduction to Jeep products because of the low-entry point. As users are encouraged to become more adventurous over time, they are increasingly likely to seek Jeep products that align with their evolving interests. UniGo is for the extreme outdoor adventurers and is at the end of this linear progression.

The final video for UniGo was created by David and me. I worked on the portions where the UI was present and David created everything else. He created the base videos for my to overlay the animated UI on.

This project strengthened my collaboration skills and deepened my understanding of how to effectively delegate and coordinate tasks within a team. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and encouraged creative thinking. The most challenging aspect was designing user interactions that moved beyond conventional task flows.

Working with Jeep was a great experience and helped me better understand how to work with a client. I am extremely thankful to David, Claire, Jun, and Bitnarae for their hard work and contributions to this project.
